Correct Answers

What the Bible Really Says
(Most people never hear this)

You just took the quiz, now here are the answers, straight from Scripture.

1.) Angels do not have wings

Most angels in Scripture are never described with wings.
They appear so human that people often mistake them for ordinary men.

Key Verse:
“for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” - Hebrews 13:2

What this means:
Angels don’t usually look like the paintings.
They often look normal… which is why you might not recognize them.

More verses: Genesis 18:2; Genesis 19:1–5; Luke 24:4

2. Angels appear as young men

When angels show up in the Bible, they’re often described simply as “men.”
Not glowing creatures… not baby cherubs… just men sent from heaven.

Key Verse:
“While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.” - Luke 24:4

What this means:
God’s messengers often look ordinary.
The supernatural can come wrapped in normal.

More verses: Genesis 18:2; Genesis 19:1; Mark 16:5

3.) Angels blend in and look ordinary

The Bible teaches that angels can look so normal, you could miss them completely.
Scripture even warns us this has happened to people without them knowing.

Key Verse:
“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” - Hebrews 13:2

What this means:
Heaven may be closer than you think.
And God may be at work in ways you don’t immediately see.

More verses: Genesis 18:3–8; Genesis 19:2–3

4.) Angels eat human food

In Scripture, angels don’t just speak, they interact.
They’ve been seen eating meals with people, like ordinary guests.

Key Verse:
“They ate.” - Genesis 18:8

What this means:
Angels aren’t myths or metaphors.
They are real beings who move in the real world.

More verses: Genesis 18:6–8; Judges 13:15-16

5.) Angels are not cute and look terrifying

When angels appear, people often don’t feel comfort… they feel fear.
That’s why angels so often begin with the same words:

Key Verse:
“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” - Luke 2:10

What this means:
Angels aren’t meant to be adorable.
They carry the weight and authority of God who sent them.

More verses: Matthew 28:2–4; Luke 1:12–13; Daniel 10:5–9

Why does this matter?

Angels exist to remind us that the unseen world is real… and that God is closer than we realize. But angels aren’t the point. Jesus is. And the greatest truth isn’t what angels look like, it’s that Christ came near to save us and walk with us daily.
